GoldFynch's tag system lets you designate tags with 'privileged' status. Privilege tags give you the flexibility to retrieve and perform several actions such as searches, reports, etc., on these files in bulk. They can also be used to generate privilege logs. In this article, we will show you how to create privilege tags.

You can create a privileged tag at the time of creation or you can update it from the tag view screen.

Using Privileged Tags in your Case

Assigning Privilege Tags and Tag Application Notes to files in your case

The process of assigning privilege tags is the same as that of assigning regular tags

You can annotate your privilege tags with tag application notes. For privileged tags, the default note that was entered when creating the tag will be added to the tag application notes that are collected.

Using Privileged Status and Privileged Category in your Search

You can easily search for files that have privileged tags assigned to them using the advanced search system. Click here to learn how to do so

Using Privileged Tags in the Production Process

During the production process, documents tagged with privileged tags can be easily excluded from the production by using the invert option under Step 2 of the Production Wizard (Select tags for production). Learn more about using tags in the production process here.

Creating Reports and Privilege logs

While creating reports you have options to restrict the tag names and tag application notes that you include to only those that have a privileged status. This also helps in the creation of privilege logs. Learn more about reports and privilege logs.
