When you make productions using GoldFynch, new versions of the files are created specifically for the production based on the specified format. e.g. in a TIFF production, TIFF files are created, and when Bates stamps are used, produced files will have the Bates number stamped onto them.
A document kit lets you choose specific "produced" versions of files and download them in bulk based on criteria like Bates number, Tags, or saved advanced searches. A document kit can be created from the 'Reports and Document Kits' view.
You can also create a document kit based on a selection of tags you directly from the 'Tags' view. Here's how:
Creating a Document Kit from the Tags View
Step 1. Click on the 'Tags' icon in the left navigation panel to navigate to the Tags view
Step 2. Click on the checkbox against the tags you want to use to create the document kit
Step 3. Click on the 'Create Document Kit' button in the top-right corner of the page
Step 4. Enter a name for the Document Kit
Step 5. Select how you want to handle files that have multiple produced versions. Learn more about the different options available for the handling of the different produced versions here
Step 6. Choose how you want to handle file naming
Step 7. Select the PDF format for the Document Kit
Step 8. Click on the 'Analyze Criterion' to review an overview of the Document Kit. Click here to learn more about the document kit overview that is generated.
Step 9. Click on the 'Create' button
