To make browsing seamless and faster, Internet browsers (Chrome, IE, Safari, Firefox etc) take a snapshot of the webpage. When you visit the page again, the browser brings up a snapshot of the page and looks for changes, if any, requests them from the servers. While this method is efficient to save loading time and bandwidth for static pages, often times it causes issues with pages that need a lot of code to run, as the browser loads up stale code from the snapshot.  Sometimes we need to manually force the browser to 'request' the latest version of the software, also known as a hard refresh.
