GoldFynch has a feature where you can rearrange files and folders in your case. After you have uploaded files, you might want to organize your files in folders or move them around. It's really easy to move files in GoldFynch. The GoldFynch directory structure is similar to your OS file tree view (Mac OSX or Windows). Here's how you can achieve this.

Case 1: Moving files to an existing Folder

Step 1. Click on 'Files' view button in the left pane

Step 2 - Select the files to be moved:

2a. You can select individual files or folders by checking the checkboxes next to their names. (You can make multiple selections)

2b. Alternatively, you can select all files and folders in the current folder by clicking checking the checkbox next to the 'Name' heading (2b)

Step 3. Click the "Move" button from the Actions menu that appears on the right

Select files and/or folders to be moved

Step 4. Click on the folder you want to move the files into. (The "Move" button at the bottom only becomes active on a valid selection)

Step 5. Click on the "Move" button on the modal to complete the move action

Select a destionation folder

NOTE (6): You can expand the folders to see the sub-folders by clicking the "+" button to the left of the directory

Case 2: Moving files into a new folder

Step 1. Click on 'Files' view button in the left pane

Step 2. Navigate to the directory where you would like the new folder to be

Step 3. Click on the "+New Folder" button in the top menu. This will create a new folder with the name you gave it in the current folder. It will take a few seconds for the new folder to appear. (See the first image of this article)

Step 4. Once the new folder appears, select the files you want to move as per Case 1 (above), and choose this folder as the destination folder
