When running a PDF production from GoldFynch it is important to note how your production results will be structured. This will help determine the best option to select when you need to produce PDFs.

PDFs only
Producing only PDF files can offer simplicity and cost savings, but it may come at the cost of reduced functionality, loss of metadata, and potential limitations in handling large or complex eDiscovery projects.
How do I produce PDFs only from GoldFynch?
In step #3 of the production wizard, you will have the option of selecting PDFs from a NON-LOAD FILE Options. Depending on how you have agreed to produce the files will determine whether you produce them:
- One PDF per page
- One PDF per document (most common)
- One PDF per family
- Single, bulk PDF (caution when choosing this option as the result if over 10,000 pages will cause delays in opening the PDF on some machines)
What will my output look like?
When selecting this option on step #3 of the Production Wizard, you will see a folder of PDF files at the root directory, i.e. no subfolder organization.
NOTE that if you did have any file types in your production that were intentionally selected to produce as native or if they were unsupported or still processing, those will be produced as natives and contained within the native subfolder.
PDFs with Load file
By combining PDF production with load files in GoldFynch, legal teams can streamline document processing, improve search capabilities, ensure document integrity, enhance overall efficiency in legal proceedings, and metadata management.
